Heroes Spoilers: Season 2, Episode 1 - Four Months Later Spoilers

This is the Heroes Spoilers blog for Heroes Season 2, Episode 1, from NBC TV.

** Updated Sept. 17**

The first not so Heroes spoilers are that this episode premieres on September 24, 2007 - four months after the Heroes season 1 finale. The title is descriptive - Four Months Later - picking up the Heroes super-heroes four months after the explosion in the Season 1 finale. As the regulars of this Heroes spoilers blog know ... WARNING: Heroes TV show spoilers ahead ... stop reading now if you do not want to know the future of Heroes TV ... blah ... blah ... blah ...

Heroes-Spoilers-Season-2(Claire the cheerleader's back ... Back for Heroes Season 2)

Claire Heroes Spoilers: As the PR photo shows, Claire the super-healing cheerleader is back for Season 2. Imitating the real life Heroes Claire actress - Hayden Panattiere - we find a matured Claire for season 2 - four months older and ten years wiser, she is somber and introspective -- and happy. The Claire Heroes spoiler is, she has a new boyfriend. And not any old kid, a flying super hero. Just like her bio dad flying Nathan Petrelli. But Claire calls herself Claire Bennett after her adoptive father Noah Bennett aka H.R.G. - horn rimmed glasses. More HRG spoilers to come.

HRG - Noah Bennett Heroes Spoilers: Noah Bennett survived the explosion, had his contract renewed, and returns ever ambiguous for Heroes season 2. Even though we have a name for HRG now, Noah, he'll always be HRG in the hearts of the Heroes spoilers blog. What of Noah? He does re-unite with Claire in Season 2, despite his mind wipe at the hands of the kind of not so mute Haitian mind eraser super-hero.

Heroes-Spoilers-West-Claire(Teen Love in Hollywood - Fly West-ern)

Hey, wait a minute Heroes spoilers blogger, what about Claire's super-flying boyfriend? :) Ok, that would be romantic West played by teen heart-throb Nick D'Agosto. West is always up for a flying date to the Hollywood sign to gaze at the stars or a roll in the sand at the beach. (Thanks justjared for the photo)

West Heroes Spoilers: The big Heroes spoilers about Claire's West actually are a Heroes spoilers first, a cross-over spoiler. West makes an appearance in episode 3 of Pushing Daisies on ABC, super-Heroes flying power and all. Pushing Daisies is a new series featuring a central character with Linderman-like super-curing super powers - he brings back dead people. More Pushing Daisies spoilers and news at a site we like called, SpoilersNews.com.

Heroes Season 2 NathanI'll be back.

Sylar Heroes TV spoilers - Sylar is one tough cockroach. When last seen, Sylar seemed to be a cockroach climbing out of the sewer. Indeed he did climb out and straight into a contract renewal making Zachary Quinto a regular Heroes cast member. So, the evil brain-eating Heroes Hero of season 1 returns for Heroes season 2. But is he really alive? The spoilers is, of course we hear ... maybe.

A major season 1 cliffhangers was, why Nathan committed suicide by sweeping in and flying away with his exploding brother Peter Petrelli. The Heroes spoilers for season 2 are, don't believe it. ... Ever ambiguous Nathan lives to hang out with evil mamma Petrelli for more mayhem in Season 2. He swept away good Peter the power sponge, left him in the sky, jetted away, kabooooom the explosion. Peter lived too, but with a new Heroes season 2 haircut. After all, save the cheerleader ... save her healing powers ... save yourself ... and the world!

(Takezo Kensei Samurai Warrior Hero:
Turning Japanese)

Takezo Kensei Heroes Spoilers: One of he biggest spoiler surprises of season 2, episode 1 is Takezo Kensei. The picture is worth 1000 words. Uh... he's far far away from his safe Euro-American home. David Anders, playing the legendary samurai warrior - smaller in real life than legend.

However, the Hiro Heroes Spoilers are, have no fear, a Heroes Hiro hero is here to whip Takezo Kensei into shape so he can fulfill his destiny. Hiro spends much of season 2 (or chapter 2 - Generations as the Heroes creators are calling it) in ancient Japan, discovering himself, discovering a lovely princess, and helping Takezo Kinsei do the same. The big question of season 2, and a blockbuster spoiler in and of itself is, Is the Takezo Kinsei of legend actually past Hiro? Do we know, of course ... not (maybe) :)

(Takezo Kensei Samurai Warrior Hero:
Japanese)

Two Takezo Kensei's - the above from the Heroes season 1, episode 23 season finale - How to Stop an Exploding Man. Chased by the samurai army, this Kensei was saved by the season ending solar eclipse. He also looks remarkably like Sulu aka George Takai aka Mr. Nakamura - Hiro's Dad. Hmmmmm.

NBC TV put out a press release for the opening episode of Season 1, containing some veiled Heroes spoilers, and probably some mis-hints as well:

AS THE EMMY-NOMINATED "HEROES" RETURNS, THE EXTRAORDINARY STRIVE TO BE ORDINARY FOUR MONTHS AFTER THE EXPLOSIVE EVENTS IN NEW YORK, BUT DEADLY NEW THREATS LOOM AS BRAND-NEW INDIVIDUALS WITH ABILITIES EMERGE WORLDWIDE -- WRITTEN BY EXECUTIVE PRODUCER/CREATOR TIM KRING AND DIRECTED BY EXECUTIVE PRODUCER GREG BEEMAN

A series of new Heroes heroes will roll out starting with episode 1 of season 2.

As the second volume of "Heroes" begins, the fates of Peter (Milo Ventimiglia), Nathan (Adrian Pasdar) and Matt (Greg Grunberg) are revealed, following the horrible showdown with Sylar (Zachary Quinto) and Peter's uncontrolled nuclear detonation miles above New York City.

They all live and return. Sylar too, but ambiguously evil for season 2.

As everyone attempts to move on, a new sinister force begins stalking and murdering Heroes.

The Heroes spoilers behind this statement is that Season 2, or more correctly Chapter 2 - the first half of sesaon 2 - reveals a new dark sinister evil Heroes anti-hero. This is the force cute Molly the hero locating kid detected in the Season 1 finale. This character is unfinished business of the older generation - Linderman, Mama Petrelli and all - and it is up left to the younger generation to deal with.

With the family hiding in Southern California, H.R.G. (Jack Coleman) and Claire (Hayden Panettiere) attempt to live as inconspicuously as possible…which proves to be easier said than done. Meanwhile, after landing in feudal Japan, Hiro (Masi Oka) meets his hero Takezo Kensei (David Anders).

Don't count of Claire and H.R.G. leading a normal inconspicuous life.

Twins Maya (Dania Ramirez) and Alejandro Herrera (Shalim Ortiz) hope to make the crossing into the U.S. from Mexico, in hopes of finding help with their deadly abilities.

New characters... I hope this is not another stereotypical TV attempt to tie-in with the immigration issue ... puuulleease NBC Heroes powers!!
Dana Davis, Noah Gray-Cabey, James Kyson Lee, Ali Larter, Sendhil Ramamurthy also star. Nick D'Agosto, Lyndsy Fonseca, Cristine Rose, Barry Shabaka Henley, George Takei, Eriko Tamura and Adair Tishler guest star.

Ali Larter ... of course the Jessica/Nikki dual personality. She's back, but is she still bad... of course.

Heroes Season 2 Spoilers

Heroes Spoilers: Season 2

The break until Heroes Season 1, Episode 19 (coming April 23) provides an opportunity to post a bit on Season 2 spoilers for Heroes.

Heroes has an advantage of seeing a lot of other serialized dramas come and go. So it can choose among the good or the bad techniques from lessons learned.

For Season 1, Heroes will be a self-contained story unit. The season is working its way to the conclusion, of the climactic event of the explosion in New York City. Will it happen or not, and how do the Heroes heroes work together to avoid it, or cause it to happen? That is the story line for Heroes Season 1.

For Heroes Season 2 spoilers, a new story line and new objective will be rolled out. This will make Season 2 a self-contained unit like Season 1. Some of the Heroes characters we like will end in Season 1, and others will emerge, both in the last episodes of Season 1, and in Season 2.

One spoiler is for sure, there are thousands of people in the Heroes world who posses super powers, or who will discover their powers. This will keep the Heroes characters fresh for as long as we are interested.

But what about lovable Hiro? The Heroes season 2 spoilers on Hiro and his complex family are, that Hiro definitely will return for Season 2. Hiro the hero has become a phenomena and there is no way NBC will fire him!

This TV series model is similar to 24. Think Jack Bauer. Nothing can kill him, just like Hiro.

Heroes Chapter 14 Spoilers Update - "Distractions"

This is a little update on the spoilers for the upcoming episode of Heroes, which is called "Distractions". I will be posting the full spoilers post for this episode with some all new items I've learned tomorrow.

Here are a few: Sylar, Heroes' resident serial killer dispenses with H.R.G. and heads home in a Primatech Paper suit to visit Claire, or more correctly eat her brain. He has some Sylar fun with mom. Not sure if H.R.G. survives but we are 100% certain someone dies in one of the February episodes.

Interestingly, the Canadian preview was somewhat different from what was shown by NBC in the United States. Some more emphasis on Nikki/Jessica, and insight into how she gets loose. Here it is from YouTube:

Oh, and here are some general Season 1 and Season 2 spoilers from the mouth of creator Tim Kring, who knows what he is talking about ... or is giving out misdirection ;) Tim would like to see Sylar stick around.... So rumors were that Zach Quinto (Sylar) is on a one-season contract, and this means they may be negotiating renewal. Time will tell. As for the theme of whether New York blows up in the season finale, that storyline will be concluded, so we will know whether the catastrophe successfully is avoided. However the season-ending cliffhanger will concern whether certain characters survive.

Hana Gitelman: Heroes New SuperHero

Heroes is set to unveil the newest superhero: the unlikely Hana Gitelman, shown in the publicity photo. Hana was a superhero, even before she developed any superpower - a first. She was a member of the Israeli Mossad, Israel's equivalent of the CIA. As a secret agent Hana hunted down terrorists from Gaza to Iran, all without superpowers. Now Hana has the power to receive and send e-mails, but without a Blackberry. She also can receive other types of electronic communications and control computers all with her mind. Pretty neat.

There are some spoilers in Hana's backstory, not yet broadcast. Hana was captured by H.R.G. like the other heroes, and she is determined to figure out his plans. She has already tracked down Ted Sprague, the Heroes radioactive guy. He received her email even though his Nevada desert hideout has no electricity. Hana has a dark side that she needs to learn to live with. There is a sneak peak of Hana and Ted here.

Heroes' Hana Gitelman is played by Stana Katic, who last appeared as Collette Stenger in Season 5 of 24 on Fox.

Heroes Spoilers: "The Fix" - Season 1, Episode 13

Updated

This is my spoilers blog for the next episode of Heroes - Season 1, Episode 13, which is called "The Fix". As usual, if you want to remain in suspense until the broadcast, stop reading now ...

I will post an episode summary of this episode, with the clues and hints after it is broadcast.

As reported here a month ago, George Takai, who is Sulu of Star Trek fame joins the cast of Heroes as time shifting Hiro's Dad from Japan (Takai is in the middle of the photo). He portrays is a stern man, and the role presented challenges for Takai, requiring him to speak in the Japanese language. He plays a significant figure - one of power in the business world in Japan.

Reportedly Takai is signed for a three-episode stint, meaning we can expect Hiro's dad's presence for the middle of Season 1. His mission is to take Hiro home to Japan. He's had hints of Hiro's power and wants to spare him the burden. Here at the Heroes TV Show Spoilers blog are rooting for Hiro to stay, and are confident that ratings demand it!

Moreover, in Season 2, action will periodically shift to Japan.

NBC also has released its official episode guide for The Fix. As usual, beware of misleads and vague hints in it. They report that Hiro is being pursued by assailants unknown in his quest for the samurai sword of destiny. And, suddenly his father (Sulu, aka George Takei) appears.

Now drug-free Issac dedicates himself to stopping New York's destruction -- and Peter's.

Claire, the indestructible Cheerleader, "embarks on a search for her true birth parents" while keeping the mission secret from her overly controlling father H.R.G. Look for Claire to learn astounding facts about them in Episode 14. Here is a teaser: At least one of her biological parents is an employee of infamous Primatech Paper, with H.R.G. And, we have seen that character in a previous episode. A big spoiler is to expect Claire to track down at least her biological mother in The Fix, or in the next episode, and Tim Kring the creator of Heroes has promised that Claire will find her biological mother played by Jessalyn Gilsig living in an Airstream in a trailer park in The Fix. Beware of spoilers misdirection!

Claude (Dr. Who, aka Christopher Eccleston), is the invisible pickpocket guy, who may be in a position to play an imperfect Yoda to Peter's power sponge. Claude has been living with his powers for a while and has knowledge of what "really" is going on. He will not reveal that knowledge in The Fix, but look for it to be hinted at by his confidence.

D.L. - the husband of Nikki/Jessica struggles with new family responsibilities, namely bringing up a superpower kid of his own.

Matt the mind reader opens up to his wife Janice who seems very pregnant.

H.R.G. - Jessica the Cheerleader's dad focuses on his captive Sylar, as in last weeks episode.

"While working to find those on "the list," Suresh receives a surprising visitor" - how's that for vague?
